Councilwoman Meredith Adams is serving on City Council for her first time and serves the constituents of the Third Ward. Meredith has been a resident of Austell for more than 30 years and truly loves her city.
A graduate of South Cobb High School, Meredith began her career at The Home Depot in 1989, which was her senior year. She obtained a degree in Business Management in 2009 and is currently a Senior Operations Manager.
Meredith has been married to Randall Adams for 19 years and they each have a daughter, Alexandria (27) and Rachel (20). Meredith and Randall are expecting their 1st grandchild in May 2022.
As Councilwoman, Meredith’s goals are to work with City staff to improve transparency, ensure first responder and city employee salaries are competitive, grow downtown businesses, reduce large truck traffic in the city and surrounding neighborhoods through better signage and traffic flow options, and mitigate creek flooding.
Meredith is very excited to represent the Third Ward on the council and encourages her constituents to reach out to her if they have questions or issues.
