Garbage and Recycling Day Schedule

Preparing for Pickup

Garbage:

Your cart must be out at curbside by 6:30 AM on your scheduled collection day and no earlier than 7:00 PM the evening before. The cart must face towards the roadway. If placing on a sidewalk, leave enough space to walk between and around your carts so there is enough room for the automated arms on the trucks to work safely. Pull your cart back in by 7:00 PM.

Will you collect extra bags? In order for all garbage to be collected, it must be in the garbage cart. If you need an extra cart, you must request one additional cart for an additional monthly fee of $12.82 for trash and $12.82 for an additional recycling cart. Special bags for additional trash to be picked up on your scheduled day can be purchased at City Hall. This will be charged on your utility bill along with the garbage and recycling fee.

Did We Miss You?

Following are some of the common reasons why your garbage or recycling may have been missed.

Garbage Recycling

Carts were not out by 6:30 AM on your scheduled collection day.

The truck could not access your cart because it was improperly blocked or placed.

Unacceptable items were placed in your cart.

There was extra garbage or recycling outside of the cart.
All garbage must be inside the cart. An additional cart may be ordered for an additional monthly charge of $12.82. All recycling materials must be inside the cart. Extra bags of recycling are not picked up. An additional cart may be ordered for an additional monthly charge of $12.82.
