On March 15, 2011 a referendum on a four-year SPLOST (Special Local Option Sales Tax) was approved by Cobb County voters. This program will be in effect from January 1, 2012 through December 31, 2015.
Mission Statement
Every project funded by the 2011 through 2015 SPLOST will improve the quality of life in the City of Austell by maintaining, improving, and enhancing transportation (new equipment, new sidewalks, and roadway resurfacing), parks, infrastructure, and public safety.
