Museum

The City of Austell, named after Alfred Arthur Austell (1814 - 1881) has a long, rich history. The museum is an excellent way to learn more about the evolution of the city and progress which continues.

The Austell Museum is open Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM and by appointment only on Saturday and Sunday. Schools and community associations are welcome guests. Donations of year books for Austell Elementary School, Garrett Middle School, and South Cobb High School for any years, and photos of historic Austell are greatly appreciated. They can be donated at the Threadmill Complex located at 5000 Austell-Powder Springs Road at the Museum or the Community Affairs Department.
