Virtual Court Proceedings
In accordance with the latest Judicial Order due to the COVID-19 crisis, the City of Austell will be conducting court proceedings virtually via Zoom until further notice. This allows defendants to resolve their judicial matters while ensuring compliance with current health guidelines to protect the public as well as court personnel. Virtual court sessions will be held each Thursday at 5:30 pm, please log in 15 minutes prior.
Defendants will need access to a computer, tablet, or smartphone that is equipped with a camera and microphone and a stable internet connection. If you do not have access to those devices, or require other accommodations, you are not excused from your court date. You must contact Court Services at (770) 944-4327 or (770) 944-4305 or courtsvc@austellga.gov to receive instructions on how to join the hearing. Defendants will be required to present a valid Photo Identification at the time of their court session.
